BEEN FARTING ANYWHERE LATELY...

Voice acting by Brandon D’Arcy (_VideoJames_). The balding man is actually a child rig (Charlie from ProRigs) that, for reasons that evade me, has a controller that lets you recede his hairline.

THE SEAGULL

A cartoony body mechanics shot I made for my Capilano University demo reel. The boy rig uses smears and multiple arms to accentuate the speed of the wind-up. Rendered in Redshift and edited in Nuke.

Software used:

HOUSE OF CHAOS

An interior environment inspired by samurai films of the 1950s and 60s. Assets were modelled in Maya, textured in Substance Painter, and the layout and rendering were done in Unreal Engine 5. The music is from Akira Kurosawa’s Ran.

LIGHTSABER HILT CONSTRUCTION

I leaned heavily on lighting and sound design to bring the static background to life. The distant dialogue at the beginning and end is a heavily edited text-to-speech voice that's poorly pronouncing Czech words.

DISK OF DEATH

My first animation to make use of a 2D and 3D mixed-medium. All plants and characters were made in 2D, while non-living assets were 3D.
